Arbortech Corporation Introduces New Product to Recycle Aqueous Cleaners... With a Twist!

McHenry, IL (December 1, 2002) - Arbortech Corporation, award-winning manufacturer of customized ultrafiltration (UF) systems for wastewater treatment, introduces a new line of standard systems designed for recycling aqueous cleaners, with a unique twist.

"The biggest issue with membrane systems has always been keeping them clean, so we eliminated that from the equation by providing a double set of elements that can be exchanged in less than five minutes with a small wrench. By using small modules and 'commercially shippable' materials of construction, we can do the cleanings at the factory and make that service a part of the deal when a system is purchased," said Ray Graffia, Jr.,
president of Arbortech Corporation. "The other kicker with such equipment has been initial cost. We are very aware of a typically limited budget in recycling projects so we're proud to
frequently be able to bring the cost of these stainless steel units down under $8,200.00, depending on washer size and contaminant loading," added Arbortech's Tom Huemann, V.P.
Engineering. The company hopes that overcoming these two major hurdles will make its recyclers "as much a part of any washing operation as the tank that holds the parts' washer cleaner or the person who drives around the floor scrubber or uses a mop and bucket."

"Finally... an inexpensive, low maintenance, 'plug and play' way to RECYCLE AQUEOUS CLEANERS" details nine key benefits that can be derived from recycling parts' washer cleaning solutions. A list of evaluative questions is also provided to help establish viability of the recycling process in any given application. The effects of contamination on cleaning are discussed and photographs of typical systems are included.

In business since 1981, Arbortech began its work as a designer, engineer and builder of customized ultrafiltration systems, finding success by working closely with its clients, from lab
