Three-Layer Filter Bag For High Efficiency Liquid Filtration



Eaton's LOFCLEAR(TM) Series 100 Filter Bags have been designed to make high efficiency filtration viable in applications where only standard filter bags are currently being used due to cost constraints. The bag's unique three-layer construction design results in a cost effective alternative to other more expensive filter bags used in absolute, high efficiency filtration applications.

Eaton's LOFCLEAR Series 100 Filter Bags are constructed with three filtration layers that provide cost effective filtration efficiencies greater than 99% over a wide range of particle sizes with dirt capacities of up to one-half pound. This unique, layered design includes a polypropylene pre-filter layer, a meltblown polypropylene micro fiber final filter layer, and a polypropylene outer migration barrier layer - resulting in a cost effective filter bag for high efficiency liquid filtration applications.

LOFCLEAR Series 100 Filter Bags are made from 100% pure polypropylene materials, and contain no leachables or lubricants such as silicone oils that could contaminate the process media. All LOFCLEAR Series 100 Filter Bags utilize Eaton's patented SENTINEL sealing ring for no by-pass filtration, critical in absolute, high efficiency filtration applications. This ring employs a pressure activated sealing lip, which responds to increases in differential pressure. As the pressure increases, the seal of the ring improves, ensuring by-pass free performance over all pressure, temperature, and micron rating ranges.
