Saint-Gobain Technical Fabrics Introduces New FibaTape® Wall & Ceiling Repair Patches
(Grand Island, NY) - The world's first and leading fiberglass mesh drywall tape brand, FibaTape®, introduces their new and improved line of Wall & Ceiling Repair Patches. The new style of patch incorporates the thinness of FibaTape® Perfect Finish(TM) mesh with a new expanded aluminum plate. The mesh portion of the patch is thinner than the mesh on standard patches making it much easier to use and sand to a flat finish while the new design of the expanded aluminum allows compound to be pushed through more easily. The combination of these two enhancements significantly improved the strength and durability of repairs.
The benefits of using the new FibaTape® Wall & Ceiling Repair Patches:
o 20% thinner - Thinner profile is easier to feather and sand, letting you create a smooth, paintable finish with less effort
o 15% more fiberglass provides strength for a repair that resists cracking
o Expandable aluminum patch allows compound to be pushed through for a strong bond that won't rust
o Ideal for ceiling repairs where extra strength is needed to hold the joint compound and prevent sagging.
o Less compound and sanding required means a quicker repair for professionals and DIYers alike.
o Mold and mildew resistant
