American Fibertek Displays New Fiber Optic Modules For Ademco & American Dynamic Dome Cameras



New Units Designed For Seamless Interface With Popular Dome Camera Systems.

Las Vegas, NV (April 6, 2005) - American Fibertek, Inc. (AFI) is displaying two additions to the company's series of fiber optic transceivers designed specifically to interface with dome camera systems from the industry's leading manufacturers. The new M1450 and M1460 Series provide a low-cost, low profile fiber optic solution specifically designed to seamlessly integrate with Ademco and American Dynamics dome cameras (respectively) with totally transparent operation. These new products join fiber optic solutions from Panasonic and Pelco

AFI's M1450 Series Video and Data Transceiver provide video/contact closure and RS422 data communications for Ademco's RapidDome. Designed to mount in the RapidDome housing, the 1450 Series utilizes one multimode optical fiber to transmit video plus contact closure and return RS422 for PTZ control. The units do not require any field adjustments at installation of additional maintenance once installed. Comparable unit may be ordered as stand alone modules or as rack cards for use in AFI card cages.

The M1460 Series Single Fiber Bi-Directional Transceiver provides one-way video for American Dynamic ROENDC End Cap mounting box for the company's SpeedDome Ultra or Optima dome camera systems. The system utilizes one multimode optical fiber to transmit video and data and is configured by the installer for Sensornet, RS422/485 or AD Manchester code. Designed for seamless operation, the units do not require any field adjustments at installation of additional maintenance once installed. Comparable unit may be ordered as stand alone modules or as rack cards for use in AFI card cages.
