ASI Releases Programmable Fiber Optic Sensors

Carlisle, PA - Automation Systems Interconnect, Inc. has announced the introduction of a complete line of programmable fiber optic sensors. The new AF Series sensors feature an easy to use sensitivity adjustment along with a keyboard so that adjustments cannot be changed once set. The small compact unit conveniently mounts onto a din-rail and fiber optic cables of 2 meters can be ordered.

The output of the AF sensors is programmable, NPN/PNP, supply voltage is 10 30 VDC and has a sensing distance of 10mm to 200mm. Connection to the AF sensor is made using a standard sensor cable equipped with a M8 connector.

The AF fiber optic sensor is ideal for detecting small parts, for sensing marks and contrasts on packages and for presence control on automated equipment. Like the other wide range of sensors offered by ASI, the AF series can be ordered direct on line at www.asi-ez.com/x076-Sensors.asp.
