Communications Specialties, Inc. Introduces the Pure Digital Fiberlink® 3400 Series for Single Channel, One-Way Composite Video

Hauppauge, NY - The new Pure Digital Fiberlink® 3400 Series from Communications Specialties transmits single channel, one-way composite video over one single mode or multimode fiber. The system's all digital processing provides uniform performance over the entire transmission path, outstanding signal-to-noise ratios, no crosstalk or drifting, and requires no adjustments whatsoever. And the 3400 Series out-performs the competition by offering all of these benefits - at traditional analog system prices.

The 3400 series features 8 MHz bandwidth and is compatible with NTSC, PAL or SECAM video standards. It operates over a wide temperature range using 9-24 volt AC or DC power. Systems consist of two units (transmitter and receiver), each equipped with indicator LEDs to continuously indicate the presence of power and a video signal. The 3400 Series is available in single mode and multimode versions, in box or card version. The card units fit within the model 6000A card cage, sold separately.

"The Pure Digital Fiberlink 3400 Series was designed for one specific function - to transmit one-way composite video over one fiber optic cable - pure simple, and pure digital," explains John Lopinto, President and CEO. "Our customers will be impressed at the high-performance level of this digital fiber optic system and even more amazed with its competitive price."
