New Fiber Optic Sensors from CARLO GAVAZZI

CARLO GAVAZZI's new PD60 family of fiber optic sensors and accessories. These high quality amplifiers feature a programmable, self-teaching setup, which can be controlled through the keyboard on the amplifier, or remotely by wire. The amplifiers have a 10-30 VDC power supply, and feature both NPN and PNP outputs, which can be selected by keyboard or wiring. Manual program versions feature a LED bar graph to show strength of signal. Versions available for both plastic and glass fiber optic cables.

All versions feature a keyboard lock, which prevents tampering or inadvertent changes to the sensor setup. The plastic fiber cables consist of 0.25 mm square or 1.0 mm square diameter cables with fixed sensor heads, or a low-cost group of 1.0 mm square diameter cables with detachable sensors heads. The glass fiber cables are available in a variety of models, with choices of plastic or metal shielding, and high temperature versions that operate up to 250°C. These new fiber optic sensors are ideal for applications that offer minimal space (where traditional sensors cannot fit) and require high levels of accuracy, such as those found in the semiconductor and electronics manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and robotics industries.

The products are UL/CSA approved, CE marked and can be purchased from www.GavazziOnline.com or authorized CARLO GAVAZZI distributors.
