New Fiber Optic Amplifiers Provide Simple Operation to Satisfy Wide Range of Sensing Applications



TWINSBURG, OH - Pepperl+Fuchs introduces SU17 Series Fiber Optic Amplifiers. The SU17 features a simple push-button teach mode, and includes a digital display indicating incoming light level, adjustment steps and scanning conditions.

The user-friendly SU17 offers three sensitivity settings to meet specific application needs, built-in auto-tuning for simplified operation and a slim 10mm profile for tight spaces. These amplifiers are DIN rail-mountable and capable of providing simple target detection to advanced contrast sensing.

Additional features include:

o Mutual interference protection to minimize sensor cross talk

o Easy attachment with snap action lever - no tools are required

o Built-in timer functions

o Wide range of glass and plastic fibers

o Light On/Dark On selectable
