FIBC suits applications with electrostatic hazards.

Press Release Summary:

FDA-accepted OhmX D+(TM) Super Sack® Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container combines advantages of Type D and C FIBCs. Type D offers static dissipation without need for grounding, while Type C prevents induction charging and eliminates static accumulation via grounded connection. When grounded, there is no induction-charging hazard, and if left ungrounded, there is no spark-discharge hazard.

B.A.G. Corp. Introduces a New FIBC

Dallas, TX, USA--B.A.G. Corp. introduces an FIBC (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container/bulk bag) made entirely of FDA accepted components for use in applications with electrostatic hazards. The OhmX D+(TM) Super Sack® container combines the unique advantages of both the Type D and C FIBCs. The Type D offers reliable static dissipation without the need for grounding, while the Type C prevents induction charging and eliminates static accumulation via a grounded connection. The Ohm X D+ does not require grounding during use as it significantly reduces the level of induction compared to traditional type D FIBCs. When grounded, there is no induction charging hazard, and if left ungrounded, there is no spark discharge hazard. The OhmX D+ container is constructed with fabric manufactured by Palrig of Israel.

"Other static FIBCs are safe. The OhmX D+ container is SAFE+." -Jacob Soker, Chief Engineer of fabric, Palrig
