Ferrite Loop Antenna Arrays cover 500 kHz to 30 MHz.

Press Release Summary:

Featuring shielded design, MRFS-6200 Series minimizes reception of local electric field noise sources. Units can be configured for Radio Direction Finding with addition of short sense whip. Housed in optional ABS radome, 12 x 12 x 3 in. arrays have low visibility. Antennas can be powered from 9.5–18.0 Vdc, with available option for 18.0–36 Vdc. Since antennas do not require ground plane, they are suitable for both fixed and mobile operation.

Mountain RF Sensors, Inc. Introduces Ferrite Loop Antenna Arrays

Fort Lauderdale, FL -- Mountain RF Sensors is now offering the MRFS-6200 series ferrite loop antenna arrays. The MRFS-6201 covers 500 kHz to 30 MHz. The shielded design greatly reduces the reception of local electric field noise sources, and offers superior sensitivity in a small package. Since the antennas do not require a ground plane, they are suitable for both fixed and mobile operation.

With the addition of a short sense whip, the antenna can be configured for Radio Direction Finding (RDF). Housed in an optional ABS radome, the 12” x 12” x 3” array has low visibility, when compared to other RDF antenna configurations. The antenna can be powered from a 9.5 – 18.0 VDC, with an available option for 18.0 – 36 VDC.
