Wide Band Shield Bead Ferrite Chokes Attenuate EMI Signals without Power Loss
Prem Magnetics, Inc. has introduced two new Wide Band Shield Bead Ferrite Chokes to their extensive line of magnetic components. The Prem SPG-100 and SPG-101 are designed to attenuate EMI and other unwanted signals in a circuit without contributing to power losses at lower frequencies or DC. Similar in performance to the other Prem SPG parts, these two units offer a vertical-mount arrangement.
Impedances range from 20 to 500 ohms and are obtained over frequencies ranging from 1.0 MHz to 400 MHz. Currents are limited only by the #22 AWG or #24 AWG tinned copper wire used in construction. Each core is 0.235" (5.99mm) diameter by 0.400" (10.16mm) long with leads extending radially about 1.0" (25.4mm) from the end.
