PIAB Announces Stainless Steel Feed Stations for Its Vacuum Conveyors
Hingham, MA, -PIAB Vacuum Conveyors, manufacturer of industrial vacuum conveyors and components, announces the Feed Station, a stainless steel feeding adapter that can mix air with material being transported in virtually any processing or manufacturing environment. The feed station is an ideal accessory for PIAB's automatic or semi-automatic vacuum conveyor systems.
PIAB's Feed Stations can be easily connected to the vacuum conveying system, allowing users to convey different materials to the same container. PIAB's Feed Stations contain silicone sealings, which are in accordance with all FDA requirements. Nitrile sealings are antistatic and also in accordance with FDA requirements. FPM sealings are available as an option, and they are suitable for applications in harsh environments and in varying temperatures.
PIAB's vacuum conveyors are made of stainless steel AISI 316L and can cope with the most demanding circumstances. The filter design can trap particles down to 0.3 microns and can be equipped with a High Efficiency Particle Arrestment (HEPA) filter. The design of the new conveyor improves the vacuum-assisted flow by 25% without affecting energy consumption.
