Hover-Davis Announces Siemens Siplace® Compatible Feeder
April 19, 2005. Hover-Davis, Inc., Rochester, NY. Hover-Davis Inc., world leader in component delivery systems, is excited to announce their Siemens Siplace Compatible Tape Feeders.
Compatible with all Siemens Siplace family machines, the feeder range currently includes 12/16, 24/32, 44 and 56mm tape feeders. Additional solutions will be added during the summer of 2005.
Each feeder has significant enhancements that improve ease of use and reduce the cost of ownership associated with this type of equipment. Reversible index drive and other operator-friendly features make component changeovers faster and more accurate.
Hover-Davis has added high-visibility status indicators, a complete software diagnostic feature set that includes pick point calibration, and a clever modular design that allows each feeder to be maintained in-house - without the need for expensive ancillary equipment or the need to ship feeders to outside resources.
To complement the component tape feeders, Hover-Davis also offers their LPS (pre-printed label feeder) and POD600 (print-on-demand label feeder) - both of which are also fully compatible with the Siplace placement machine family.
In combination, the component feeders and label presenters offer the user an unparalleled value proposition and can significantly increase line productivity.
