Amtak Announces Introduction of New Tack-Mount(TM) Which 'Nails' Cable Tie Mounts To Metal



EAST PROVIDENCE, RI May 20, 2005 - Amtak Fasteners announces the introduction of its Tack-Mount(TM) fastener. Designed for quick and permanent fastening of cable tie mounts to metal without the drilling required by other fastening methods or surface preparation required by adhesives. The Tack-Mount is manufactured from special impact resistant plastic and has a pre-inserted hardened steel Metal-Tack. Amtak developed the Tack-Mount with PANDUIT(TM), the leading brand of cable ties.

To fasten, the installer places the Tack-Mount on the tip of an Amtak air tool, positions it and impacts the fastener and mount directly into steel, aluminum or cast iron. The Tack-Mounts are permanently secured to the metal but are still able to rotate for final alignment. Tack-Mount dimensions are .860" W x .375" H.
