NEXCOM Introduces Fanless PC, NISE 3144, Integrated with PoE and Firewire Solution for Image Processing System



Fremont, CA - Nexcom introduces a new fanless industrial computer system, NISE 3144, specifically aimed at image-processing applications such as video streaming, video surveillance, image mapping, visual inspection and face / feature recognition.

To meet the requirements of intensive graphic processing and surveillance video capture, NISE 3140 can be equipped with Firewire or Gigabit camera. IP camera and RFID reader can be installed through PoE ports and become a part of security monitoring systems. Thanks to the latest Power over Ethernet (PoE) standards that enable power to be delivered to network devices along the same Ethernet cable used for data. The NISE 3144 integrated with PoE solution ease the difficulties of providing different power sources to added-on devices such as IP camera in buses / police cars / sightseeing bus / school bus, VoIP telephones, RFID reader and IP phones.

Based on the Intel® GM45 chipsets, NISE 3144 is highly scalable to support a wide array of Intel® Core(TM) 2 Duo and Celeron® processors; in the mean time, it also delivers superb graphic performance with notable data transfer rate. NISE 3144 provides a number of important features required by image processing operation, including dual-channel DDR3 memory, two Gigabit Ethernet LANs, auto-direction control on RS485, optional IEEE1394b interface and 4x PoE ports. On top of that, NISE 3144 supports dual independent displays through two VGA, DVI or LVDS outputs. Housed in a robust aluminum chassis, NISE3140 of fan-less design offers noise-free, ultra reliable operation in the most demanding of industrial environment.
