Ultra-Compact Fanless Panel PC with 8.4 Inch LCD
Tight on space? The new NEMA 4 STE 08 fanless panel PC from CyberResearch, Inc. has a front bezel that's only 10" wide by 7.7" high, with a 9.3" x 6.9" cutout and only 4.7" behind panel. A low-heat Celeron® M 600 MHz CPU has plenty of power for most industrial uses and a touchscreen simplifies control for your operator.
Designed for panel-mounting in restricted spaces, the CyberResearch® STE 08 panel PC also has bolt holes for wall mounting and VESA holes for swivel-arm mounting. The 350 nit LCD display provides 800 x 600 pixel resolution with a contrast ratio of 450:1, so it's easy to read, despite its small size.
The Celeron M 600 MHz CPU with 400 MHz front-side bus was designed for low heat generation, so the STE 08 requires no noisy fans for cooling. The unit comes with 256 MB DDR SODIMM RAM, and can be upgraded to 1GB if needed. A Type II Compact Flash slot provides for nonvolatile memory. A 40GB hard drive and slim CD-ROM are also included, with Windows® XP operating system.
Network-ready I/O includes an EPP/ECP printer port, three RS-232 ports, VGA, 10/100 Base-T Ethernet, four USB 2.0 ports, and a PS/2 keyboard/mouse port.
