iTest Personal gives feature and device testers alternative to time-consuming manual tests and scripting, speeding and simplifying the test process
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., May 29 - Fanfare, a provider of testing solutions for equipment manufacturers, today announced that it has launched its latest software product - Fanfare iTest(TM) Personal. This new, downloadable product is a productivity-enhancement tool for feature and device testers who still do a majority of their job manually. With iTest Personal, quality assurance (QA) teams and developers can build and run tests, capture and record all testing information, and automatically generate documentation that can be shared easily regardless of location or language. These features enable testers and developers at all skill levels to test quickly and accurately, leaving behind dated approaches such as manual testing and scripting.

This enables testers to review and replay actions and commands created days, weeks or months ago. iTest Personal also removes barriers to productivity such as language and location by creating clear, easy-to-understand test reports that document all test information-setup, test actions, and responses - so that others can easily reproduce bugs and validate fixes. Tests can now be replayed with a single mouse click, increasing the efficiency of the overall testing process.
