Power Acumen to Introduce the FT3100 Series FlexTray(TM).
Stockton, CA, May 31, 2002 - Power Acumen is increasing its' broad range of flexible cooling products with the FT3100 Series FlexTray(TM). The FT3100s are a series of dual redundant Universal DC input fan trays with additional AC input and adjustable fan speed.
The FT3100 family of FlexTrays(TM) is a unique horizontal mounting fan tray employing sophisticated design techniques to make a breakthrough product: Settable speed and worldwide operation. The FT3 100's standard fan tray allows the fans' operation speed to be set to any point over a 2:1 range. Worldwide operation is achieved through a wide range DC input allowing for power from an ac adapter power supply and/or from DC telecom type sources.
The FT3100s have two DC inputs to allow for easy hookup to a variety of DC sources. The inputs can be used in a dual redundant fashion. These new FlexTrays(TM) will operate on standard 24, 36 and 48V DC supply voltages, for telecom applications.
The FT3100 family has adjustable speed setpoint over a 2:1 range, allowing for further reduced noise, reduced power consumption and extended fan life. Easily adjusted using a screwdriver inserted in the hole provided in the chassis.
