Jan Fan, manufacturer of the yellow heavy-duty industrial fans has developed the Smart Fan, a fan that automatically shuts off after the "on time" period has expired. Known as the automotive and heavy industry standard, Jan Fan has developed a patented module that easily and quickly installs into the motor end dome of each of its fans. After the module is installed and the fan is turned on, the fan will automatically shut off at the time set by a plants technician during the initial module installation. The shut off time is generally aligned with plant work shift periods.
