Original Press Release:

Front D-Ring Version of the New Miller Aircore Harness - Now Available

Designed for use in a variety of ladder climbing, confined space and rescue applications

FRANKLIN, Pa. — Honeywell (NYSE: HON) launched today its new line of Miller AirCore™ Front D-ring Harnesses that are ideal for fall protection in a variety of ladder climbing, confined space and rescue applications. This new line of AirCore harnesses also features a lightweight, low profile cam buckle on the shoulder straps that makes webbing adjustment easier than any other harness on the market.

The Miller AirCore Front D-ring Harness meets OSHA 1926.502, ANSI A10.32, ANSI Z359.1 and CSA Z259.1-12 requirements and is rated to 400 lbs. (141.8 kg) capacity. In addition the Miller AirCore Front D-ring Harness has the same features — comfort, easy adjustability, lightweight, stylish design — as the original Miller AirCore harness and is available with either steel or aluminum hardware:

COMFORT: Breathable, open-core padding technology provides optimal air flow while reducing heat and moisture entrapment, keeping a worker drier and cooler – up to 16% less surface area than other padding used on the market. AirCore harnesses are designed with patented Miller DuraFlex® stretchable webbing that provides greater flexibility and increased comfort.

EASY TO ADJUST: Unique cam buckles on the shoulder straps make vertical webbing adjustment the easiest of any harness on the market. Quick-connect chest buckles for easy donning.

LIGHTWEIGHT: The right combination of materials and components was selected to reduce fatigue for all-day endurance and increased productivity; 16% lighter in weight than competitive harnesses with aluminum hardware and 20% lighter than harnesses with steel hardware.

STYLISH DESIGN: Webbing design creates an original and vibrant style and color for easy identification, greater visibility and greater safety.
