Gorbel Introduces New Tether Track(TM) Fall Arrest Anchor System

Gorbel Inc. is pleased to introduce their new Tether Track(TM) rigid rail fall arrest anchor system.

Gorbel Tether Track(TM) fall arrest anchor systems are a reliable, cost-effective way to reduce the risk of injury in elevated work environments. Standard systems are designed to support multiple workers, each weighing up to 310 pounds with tools. Heavier worker systems can also be custom engineered. Our rigid rail anchor systems are designed by qualified engineers to exceed the OSHA 1926 Subpart M Construction standard as well as ANSI Z359 Fall Protection Code.

Compared to wire rope systems, Gorbel's rigid rail system offers shorter free fall distances, reduced risk of secondary fall injures, such as swinging into obstacles, longer distances between support centers, and no negative impact on second worker in the event of someone falling. Our rigid rail systems stop the fall sooner by eliminating the sag of a wire rope system. By reducing that fall distance, our fall arrest systems provide effective protection even in low headroom applications.

We offer both Monorail and Bridge systems:

Monorail Systems:

o For applications where a worker needs to travel in a straight line, Gorbel monorail anchor systems offer strength and mobility along a single axis.

o Monorails are available in plain, trussed, or dual trussed track

Bridge Systems:

o Gorbel bridge anchor systems provide maximum coverage when a worker's duties require movement along the X and Y axis.

o The lightweight, high strength aluminum bridge effortlessly follows as the worker moves within the rectangular coverage area.
