Incorporating a single fastener design which provides a unique mounting method, the new design reduces both assembly cost and component counts, providing overall cost saving efficiencies.
The CP-HP Series Handles are fully compliant to IEEE 1101.10, PICMG 2.16 CompactPCI, VME, and EUROCARD specifications, allowing OEMs to incorporate products meeting virtually any required industry recognized standard. The CP-HP handles features dual locating pins which assure precise horizontal and vertical alignment for a wide range of faceplates to meet a diverse range of CompactPCI applications including electronic enclosures, printed circuit, computer, datacom/telecom, industrial control, security, and test and measurement markets.
Utilizing industry standard extrusions that require no tools for installation, the new handles are easily mounted using provided hardware with self-tapping metal screws. Manufactured from UL rated 94V-0, ABS black material for rigidity and strength, the new handles are compatible with all cards of 3HP through 8HP widths and can be mounted to extrusions or faceplates 0.047" - 0.125" (1.2mm - 3.2mm) thick. . Available immediately from stock, the CP-HP Series Handles are priced from $0.30 each in production quantities.
