Sumitomo's New WGC Milling Cutter for High Performance Face Milling
Mount Prospect, IL (August 26, 2002) - The new WGC milling cutter is a 45° lead high performance face mill, producing superior surface finishes. The high quality surface finish can be attained using the economical M class insert.
The WGC generates low cutting forces while exhibiting the highest assembly integrity. Low levels of runout produce high quality results for a wide range of applications. The WGC is suitable for both roughing and finishing operations.
High feed rates and high speed metal removal make the WGC highly productive. This new milling cutter from Sumitomo Electric Carbide Inc., creates excellent surface finish and high wear resistance.
