ASTRODYNE has announced a medically approved series of 30, 50, and 100 Watt Desktop External Switching Power Adapters. The MPU50 Series offers single, dual, and triple outputs in voltages from 2.5 to 28VDC and all accept Universal Input of 90-264VAC. These desktop switching adapters are ideal for use with hospital instrumentation, desktop peripherals, printers, and test equipment. The adapters provide Line/Load Regulation of ±3 to 7%, low Ripple/Noise of 0.5% (typical). All models have over voltage and over current protection. Operation efficiency is 83% (typical). Output connection is made via a standard coaxial plug (most single output models) or 5 and 8 pin DIN (multi-output models) connectors. The MPU50 Series adapters also provide I/O isolation of 4,000VAC. All models have full cUL (2601-1), TUY (EN60601-1), IEC safety certification and meet VDE/FCC Part 15/Level B EMI/RFI requirements.
