ASTRODYNE has introduced an expanded series of 12 Watt to 60 Watt Desktop External Switching Power Adapters. This series offers single, dual, and triple outputs in voltages from 5VDC to 48VDC and accept Universal Input of 90-264 VAC. These desktop switching adapters are ideal for use with microcomputers, desktop peripherals, printers, and test equipment. The adapters provide Line/Load Regulation of ± 2 to 5%, low Ripple/Noise of 1% (typical), Overvoltage, Overcurrent protection, and operate at a typical efficiency of 80%. Output connection is made via a standard coaxial plug (Single Output Models) or 5 Pin DIN /Mini-DIN (Multi-Output Models) connectors. The adapters also provide Input-to-Output Isolation of 1500 VAC, have full UL, CSA, and IEC safety certification and meet VDE/FCC Part 15/Level B EMI/RFI requirements.
