Original Press Release:

Now Use ISA Cards in PCI Systems!

Don't throw away your legacy ISA cards! Instead, team them up
with our CyberResearch® PRO 700 PCI-to-ISA Bus Extender set.
Combined with an ISA chassis or backplane, the PRO 700 lets you
continue to use your old familiar ISA cards in newer computers,
which usually lack ISA slots.

Because the capabilities and designs of ISA and PCI cards differ, you will need to do some programming after the hardware installation. PRO 700 Bus Extenders come with software for initialization and termination, waits and setups, input and output, interrupts, and self tests. Also included are drivers
for Windows® 95/98/NT and MS-DOS. All are compatible with Microsoft® Visual C 5.0 and Visual Basic 5.0.

The software makes it easy to control I/O, interrupts, refresh signals, and self tests. You can specify I/O waits in your program. You can generate interrupts with a signal from the ISA expansion slots and verify the status of such signals. You can enable or disable refresh signals for each ISA expansion slot and you can use a dedicated register on the PRO 700 to complete self-test routines.

In addition to PCI-to-ISA Bus Extender sets - now shipping from stock - CyberResearch, Inc., offers a variety of other bus expansion systems and PC accessories, plus panel-mount, rack-mount and desktop PCs, as well as data-acquisition and motion-control systems.
