New on the Market: Long Reach Tool for Wipe Sampling

Richland, WA: Intellegration, LLC, is excited to introduce their long reach tool for obtaining wipe samples in hazardous environments where radiation may be present. The swab tool features a rounded pivoting tip which will conform to the surface being wiped easily emulating the two-finger wiping specification for optimum sample results.

This fully adjustable telescoping pole also features pivot joints which can be used to position the tool end to reach into areas which are not in a direct line of sight with the operator. This allows the operator to reach behind, over and under obstruction, giving safe access to hard-to-reach areas.

All pole adjustments easily hand lock into place. Fully extended, this pole reaches 10 ft. and then folds and collapses to 4 ft. for easy storage (custom lengths also available).

The padded swab tip is removable from the 1/4"-20 standard thread mount allowing other instruments to be attached, e.g.: camera or AMP 100 probe.

A wireless camera or other device mounting brackets are also available through Intellegration. In decommissioning situations, the camera or probe provides remote data from a safe distance.

Contact Intellegration to find out how IntelleTools can become a part of your tool kit for use in radioactive or hazardous environments.
