Explosion-Proof Valves feature corrosion resistance.

Press Release Summary:

Explosion-proof Valves employ electroless nickel plating of coils to achieve corrosion resistance to NEMA 4X. Pressure ranges are from 0-3,000 psi, with temperature ranges from 0-221°F. Valves are designed for hazardous locations Class I, Groups A, B, C, and D, and Class II, Dive 1, Groups E, F, and G; Div 2, Groups A, B, C, D, E, F, and G.

New Britain, CT - Peter Paul now offers its entire line of explosion-proof, potted coils with added corrosion protection. These valves employ electroless nickel plating of the coils to achieve corrosion resistance to NEMA 4X.

The valves achieve new levels of corrosion resistance through their characteristic, electroless nickel plating of potted coils, available on everything from the Series 50 miniature explosion proof valves to the company's Series 20 explosion proof line of two and three-way valves. Pressures are from 0 to 3,000 psi, with temperature ranges from 0°F (-18C) to 221 °F (105°C). The valves are designed for hazardous locations Class I, Groups A, B, C and D, and Class II, Div. 1, Groups E, F, and G; Div. 2, Groups A, B, C, D, E, F and G.

Peter Paul Electronics, established in 1947, provides through worldwide distribution a broad range of standard and miniature solenoid valves, explosion proof, high-flow and high pressure models -most UL and CSA listed; complementary manifolds and stacking bodies in stainless, brass or aluminum; solenoid valve operators for OEM use; and a vast array of body, housing and coil options for standard and special applications.
