Expandable Mobile Workstations With P4 Power
New LPA and LPV luggable PCs from CyberResearch® bring you the power of a PC workstation in a compact, portable carrying case at speeds up to 3.2 GHz. LPA models (shown) have three 5.25" drive bays and two 3.5" bays. LPVs have two bays in each size. Both models offer a choice of 5 PCI slots or 3 PCI and 3 ISA slots.
People doing field work often find they need more computing power than laptops provide. That's why CyberResearch, Inc. offers portable PCs with four or five drive bays, multiple expansion slots, and a variety of motherboards and CPU cards. You can even combine Pentium® P4 power with ISA slots!
Both LPA and LPV models offer an AGP slot plus your choice of 5 PCI or 3 PCI/3 ISA expansion slots. Models with Athlon CPUs come with an AGP video card with 64 MB of video RAM. The other models do not include a separate graphics card; their motherboards provide video using shared video RAM.
All models come with Windows 2000® and 256 MB of RAM, expandable to 2, 3, or 4 GB depending on your choice of motherboard and CPU. A carrying case with pull handle and wheels is included with each system. A removable cover on the side of each unit provides access to all I/O ports and expansion slots.
