Exinda's New 6700 Resets the Price/Performance Benchmark for High Speed Large Enterprise, Telcos and Service Providers Networks
SEATTLE, Wash., Nov. 15 -- Exinda Networks today introduced a new network management appliance, the Exinda 6700, which offers excellent traffic management for high bandwidth Internet Protocol (IP) networks including large enterprise, telcos and service provider networks at 40 percent lower cost than the competition.

For large enterprise networks, the Exinda 6700 can increase data speeds by up to 400 percent using compression techniques on large file transfers, batch transfers and bulk transfers such as backups and disaster recovery sites. For service providers' networks, the Exinda 6700 can validate and monitor the service levels it is providing to its customers.
The Exinda 6700 runs from 100 to 500 Megabits per second and supports 1 million application connections. Pricing for the Exinda 6700 begins at $18,700 U.S. Dollars.
According to IDC's Worldwide Optimization Management 2005-2009 Forecast and Analysis from May, 2005, the wide area network (WAN) optimization market is morphing into a wide-area performance market. It states that vendors that can demonstrate immediate improvement in application performance and that are the most future proof will have top management's closest attention.
