Dean Evans & Associates, inc. Unveils EMS Regics(TM) 1.1 with Enhanced Features and Capabilites

The highly customizable registration and survey software adds integration with hosted online payment pages and other convenient features

Denver - Dean Evans & Associates, maker of EMS software, is proud to announce the rollout of EMS Regics 1.1, the second generation of its online event registration and survey software.

In addition to providing the flexibility of its previous release, Regics 1.1 accepts online credit card payments through multiple, hosted payment solutions and allows users to create "by invitation only" events to send invitations to specific lists of attendees.

"I really appreciate the flexibility of being able to design any type of question you need for any situation," said Carrie Klippenstein, who recently created Montana State University - Billings' first registration in Regics.

In Klippenstein's case, there were a lot of variables to account for when designing a registration for the campus' annual MSU Billings Powwow, including age groups, dignitary status, drum groups and the size of each group.

Offering online pre-registration will reduce the time event attendees wait in line to register and planners spend on administrative tasks when it comes to kicking off the powwow this April, Klippenstein said. She also said she is looking forward to creating more online registrations with Regics 1.1 enhanced reporting tools.

Regics 1.1 offers an easy-to-navigate, all-inclusive Event Dashboard page that features registration management and expanded reporting capabilities, including:
  • A Query Builder tool that allows event managers to construct custom data extracts, which can then be exported to a PDF or Microsoft Excel
  • An Event Detail list capable of exporting all attendee information and registration responses to Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
  • Event and Attendee Snapshots that provide detailed summaries and listings of attendees, responses by date range and individual responses

"Our first ever release of Regics last year made quite a splash with our customers and prospects," said Ed Nowak, director of product development. "We think that the enhancements made in version 1.1 solidify its position in the market as a light-weight and cost effective registration solution. We're confident that 2011 will be a big year for Regics 1.1."

Regics 1.0 debuted in April 2010 as a cost-effective, on-premises solution to survey and registration needs. With the release of Regics 1.1, DEA remains devoted to offering survey and registration tools that are among the most affordable in the industry while continuing to enhance the software's functionality.
