84 Watt Charger for E-Bikes and Electric Vehicles
Green Watt Power, a division of Calex Mfg. Co., Inc, of Concord California announces the introduction of the EVC- 42-84. This compact, cost effective 84 Watt Lithium Ion battery charger is ideal as an on-board or off-board charger for electrical vehicle applications, in particular electric bicycles. The charger measures 2.32” x 4.33” x 1.26” and weighs 0.5kg. It has an IP rating of 20. The operating temperature range of the charger is -20 to +45C. Storage temperature is -40 to +85C.
The EVC-42-84 has a universal AC input range of 90 to 264VAC. The constant current output is 2A. The output current accuracy is +/-5%. The charging voltage range is 25 to 41.8V. The output voltage accuracy is +/-0.6%. The output ripple and noise is 10% of Iout. The efficiency of the EVC-42-84 runs as high as 91%. Input to output isolation is 3750VAC. The EVC-42-84 is compliant with EN55014-1 Class B emissions.
The EVC-42-84 is protected by short circuit protection, over voltage protection, over temperature protection and reverse polarity protection.
