Eurosatory 2012: Pulse Inteco Systems Launches New Generation of MESLAS - Sniper's Fire-Controlled Riflescope - The Only One of Its Kind with Single-Pulse Laser Rangefinder that Lowers Risk of Sniper Detection

The company will present a range of advanced solutions in the areas of night vision, laser rangefinders, and laser-based OEM products

Netanya, Israel - Pulse Inteco Systems - a leading supplier of high-performance laser and electro-optic systems for infantry and armed forces - will launch the new generation of its very successful MESLAS Sniper's Fire-Controlled Riflescope 10x40 - at Eurosatory, June 11-15, Paris, Israel Pavilion, Booth # D691. MESLAS is the only solution of its kind integrating a single-pulse laser rangefinder that significantly lowers the risk of the sniper being detected. The company will also showcase a wide range of solutions in the areas of night vision, laser rangefinders, and laser-based OEM products.

MESLAS is an innovative Fire-Control Riflescope 10x40, designed for sniper rifles. The sophisticated, compact, multi-function system incorporates a single-pulse laser rangefinder operating in an eye-safe spectral range (1.54 ìm, invisible to night vision devices), a sniper's telescope, and a fire-control system. When measuring distances, the MESLAS automatically calculates the elevation angle according to the ranged target accurate adjustability. Fitted with azimuth and elevation adjustment knobs, the optical axes of the telescope can be aligned with the axes of the weapon barrel and compensate for side wind and target travel. Weighing only 1.85 kg (4.05 lbs), the robust system withstands all environmental conditions, as well as shocks and vibrations. Optional features include measurements of temperature, humidity, weapon elevation, and axial angle sensors for ballistic calculations.

The company will also showcase its entire line of night vision devices:
The recently introduced MINI-HUNTER is a compact and lightweight (<400 grams) night vision weapon sight with 2x magnification, based on a Gen-II or Gen-III image intensifier tube. Withstanding the most demanding battlefield conditions, the Mini Hunter provides passive ballistic reticle with an external bore-sighting mechanism incorporated in a Picatinny adaptor. Powered by a single, standard "AA" battery, it provides up to 40 hours of continuous operation. The MINI HUNTER - which can also be used for observation - fits various weapon types, including rifles, assault rifles, rocket launchers, and machine guns.

HUNTER is a compact and lightweight night vision weapon sight, with 4x or 6x magnification based on Gen-II or Gen-III image intensifier tubes. The sight is designed to withstand the most demanding battlefield conditions, providing red projected ballistic reticule with brightness adjustment. With a simple and accessible "On/Off" switch, the Hunter is powered by two standard "AA" batteries which provide up to 60 hours of continuous operation in normal conditions. The sight easily fits rifles, assault rifles, and machine guns.

BOXER is a Night Vision Binocular (NVB) that offers a high-resolution image in a lightweight, single-tube binoculars configuration. The Boxer enables automatic switching-off in flip-up position and when illumination is more than 1 Lux. Enabling hands-free observation and wide field-of-view, the compact solution includes built-in IR illuminator, low battery indicator, On/Off/IR Momentary/IR switch, and interpupillary and ocular dioptric adjustment. Boxer is powered by two standard "AA" batteries.

RANTEL is a multi-functional, high-performance, modular, hand-held, passive night vision mini-monocular. It utilizes a single, 18mm ANVIS type GEN II+ or GEN III image intensifier tube to provide crisp, clear images under the darkest conditions. The RANTEL can be hand-held or installed on a variety of head mount/helmet mount assemblies for hands-free use. The integrated near-IR illuminator enhances map reading and operation in confined spaces. Compatible with all weapon-mounted near-IR laser aiming and illuminating devices, the mini-monocular includes an infrared illuminator and internal IR illuminator indicator, and runs on a "AA" battery - providing up to 40 hours of continuous operation.

STING is a short to long range Laser Target Pointer (LTP) with boresight retention, emitting an infrared laser beam that projects a dot onto the target. Compact and lightweight, the STING can be mounted on various types of weapons with mounting brackets and adaptors.

The company will also showcase LIORA, which is a multifunctional, lightweight, handheld device that incorporates a monocular day optical telescope, an eye-safe laser rangefinder, a digital compass, and a GPS receiver. Designed and built as a compact unit for infantry units and special operations forces, the LIORA can also be integrated as part of a modular firing or observation system and communicate with multiple applications. Features include long-range and instantaneous single-pulse measurement, high-resolution optics, and RS232 serial interface and remote ranging.

In addition, Pulse Inteco will present a range of solutions in the area of laser-based OEM products at Eurosatory.
