Elgin, IL - HARTING, Inc is pleased to announce the release of the Ethernet Han-Brid RJ-45 connector for industrial environments. Rated for Category 5 transmissions, the Han-Brid packages standard RJ 45 plugs and jacks into a variety of hoods and housings that offer protection from water, oil, dust and dirt. For greater versatility, two 10 amp rated contacts are integrated into the connector for supplying power to the network. This means only one connector is needed for data-transmission and power. Assembly is performed with standard tools thus making field installation possible.
