Belden Offers Full Line of Industrial Ethernet Cables for Even the Most Demanding Industrial Environments

RICHMOND. IN.-Belden Electronics Division, a worldwide leader in industrial cabling solutions announces a complete line of DataTuff® twisted pair copper and TrayOptic® fiber optic Industrial Ethernet cables.

Data transmission errors in industrial networks can lead to interruptions in critical control functions, potentially resulting in production time and/or safety issues. Belden's Industrial Ethernet cables help ensure optimum network performance and were designed to withstand the rigors of industrial environmnental factors such as exposure to oil and
sunlight, temperature variation, abrasion and crushing, or the presence of electromagnetic interference (EMI) or radio frequency interference (RFI).

The DataTuff series includes nine twisted pair designs, verified to meet Category 5e performance standards and featuring heavy-duty sunlight- and oil-resistant jackets. Seven of the cables feature Installable Performance(TM) with Belden's patented Bonded-Pairs technology that delivers superior electrical performance even in harsh industrial installations. They include: Belden 7923A - unshielded; Belden 7929A - foil shield; Belden 7921A - foil plus braid shield; Belden 11700A -- unshielded, upjacketed; Belden 121700A - unshielded, arrmored; Belden 7924A unshielded, flex design: Belden 7928A - unshielded, Hi and Low temperature, Oil Res I & II, Gas Res. Belden also offers two unbonded pair designs; Belden 7918A - unshielded and 7919A- foil shielded. The DataTuff line also hosts two cables verified to Category 6 performance standards: Belden 11872A - unshielded, upjacketed and Belden 121872A - unshielded, armor jacket.

The TrayOptic indoor/outdoor fiber optic series cables include a water-blocking agent and have passed both the IEEE 383 and UL 1581 Vertical Tray Flame Tests.
