Souderton, PA - 4/6/05 - AR Worldwide has introduced the Model IA232ET Ethernet Interface. When used with an AR Worldwide product that is equipped with an RS-232 interface, the adapter allows the product to be connected to IP-based Ethernet networks.

Using a method called serial tunneling, the IA232ET encapsulates serial data into packets and transports it over the Ethernet.
