ESPRIT 2008 to Be Exhibited at Intec 2008, Leipzig, Germany, Feb. 26-29

The most powerful CAM software ever.

ESPRIT 2008, the latest software release from computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) industry innovator DP Technology, will be showcased Feb. 26-29 at Intec 2008, in Leipzig, Germany.

Intec 2008 is a trade fair for manufacturing, tool and special-purpose machine construction that provides exhibitors and visitors a conference with international character, workshops and roundtable discussions. Guests who visit the ESPRIT booth will see firsthand demonstrations of advancements made available within the latest generation of ESPRIT.

Upgrades available in the new release include turning stock automation for lathes, EDM machine specific machining technology, improved 3D machining performance, open pocket milling, expanded CAD to CAM feature exchange (FX), enhanced KnowledgeBase machining (KBM) functionality, and B-axis turning for 5-axis mill-turn machines.

In addition to increasing the performance of the CAM software, the upgrades available within ESPRIT 2008 and on display at Intec 2008 reduce the time required to produce part programs while increasing the quality of those programs and helping to reduce machining cycle times.
