The fifth major version since its introduction in 2000, Sage ERP X3 v5 is being released by the Sage Group in 35 countries. The system is represented in the United States by Adonix, a fully-owned company of the Sage Group dedicated to the North American upper mid-market. "The Sage ERP X3 platform dramatically expanded its market reach within the last two years," Alex Attal, CEO of Adonix explains. The latest Sage ERP X3 release focuses on:

New features include:

-- Enhanced integration with MS Outlook, allowing two-way synchronization of contacts, calendars and tasks,
-- Improved traceability/security and extended workflow that includes a multi-level signature circuit, externalized management of recipients and absences, strong workbench management, signature automation through a simple click inside an e-mail message and the ability to create batch workflow events,
-- New core engine and administration tools that help speed up installation and parameterization, simplify XML import/export, and support RF terminals as standard ERP client, and
-- Enhanced development toolset for customer or 3rd party developers, preserving custom developments from standard system upgrades or updates.

With more than 1,900 worldwide customers -- ranging from 10 to more than 1,000 ERP users and representing over 5,000 sites -- Sage ERP X3 has established itself as one of the fastest-growing enterprise systems for mid- sized companies. The new version is being released by the Sage Group under the new brand name Sage ERP X3 to better reflect its unique position within the Sage portfolio of ERP products available on a worldwide basis.
