Eriez® HydroFlow® and Comat S.r.l Bring SuperFiltration to North America

Erie, PA - Eriez® HydroFlow® and Milan, Italy-based Comat S.r.l announce a partnership that makes Superfiltration down to 3-micron nominal available to customers in North America at an economical cost. Offering the best relationship between process quality and filtration costs, this pre-coat Superfiltration technology will be officially unveiled at the 2016 International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) in Chicago.

This filter features an innovative design utilizing 18-inch diameter dome-shaped elements.  It is capable of servicing individual or multiple machines, providing flow rates from 15GPM-150GPM for standard model filters.

“The Comat filter models now offered by Eriez HydroFlow increase our current offerings within our superfiltration line and enable us to satisfy customers’ demands for an alternative to ‘edge’ type filtration on oil applications such as carbide grinding, honing, tool and cutter grinding, superfinishing, EDM and ceramic grinding,” says Darrell Milton, Manager, Filtration Systems. “This filter is truly state-of-the-art with advanced controls to allow operators to remotely monitor and manage their filtration system from anywhere in the world using their PC, tablet or smartphone.”
