"After working with Hugh Hoagland, a prominent expert in electrical arc testing and safety, Ansell recognized the need for improved protection against arc flash. We have updated our popular PowerFlex 80-813 gloves to meet those needs while continuing to provide long-wearing comfort and dexterity for workers," said Laura Proctor, Ansell Senior Marketing Manager.

PowerFlex 80-813 gloves feature Ansell's patented knitted variable stitch design (KVSD) to release tension in high stress zones and ensure an ergonomic fit. The gloves' improved ergonomics help achieve less hand fatigue and reduce the possibility of carpal tunnel injuries. A D3 Pinky design also allows a more natural fit for greater comfort.

The improved PowerFlex 80-813 gloves are ideal in a variety of industries including electric and gas utilities, oil processing and refining, petrochemical, mining, resource manufacturing and construction. The gloves are available in a range of sizes (6-11) to accommodate the hands of almost any worker. They are machine launderable with minimal shrinking and good recovery, and they hide soil for longer wear and reduced replacement costs.
