Spring-Loaded 25P-24 from MODRoto Reduces Bending and Reaching

Madison, IN, USA: Laundry cart manufacturer MODRoto, Madison, IN (MODRoto.com) has unveiled the ergonomic 25P-24 flare truck. Designed to reduce the need for workers to repeatedly bend down and reach into the cart bottom, the 25P-24 flare truck features the company's signature, spring-loaded platform that automatically sinks when loaded with laundry and rises as laundry is removed to keep work positioned at a safe, comfortable working height. The spring-loaded unit sets a durable, rotationally molded, plastic platform that is waterproof and chemical-resistant atop a steel spring mechanism, which is safely hidden under the platform to prevent contact with workers and linens and may be easily removed for cleaning and storage without any tools.

Ideal for transferring laundry from washer extractors to drying and finishing and for other tasks in-plant, the ergonomic 25P-24 flare truck is rotomolded from 100% polyethylene in a single piece with a safety, roll-top rim around the full cart perimeter, rounded corners for high structural strength, and internal spring platform guides that help keep the spring-loaded platform level as it moves up and down, even when unevenly loaded. The laundry cart stands on a rugged, powder-coated steel base atop six, industrial-strength, non-marking casters. Developed as a complement to the company's larger 25P-30 ergonomic flare truck, the 25P-24 spans the same 66 inches long x 35 inches wide but stands just 31 inches high to neatly fit in a variety of tight spaces while its taller predecessor stands 38 inches high for greater capacity.
