Economical Equipment Boxes Mount Easily With External Flanges
Cleveland, OH- July 1, 2004 - Bud Industries Inc., the nation's leading manufacturer of electronic enclosures, has announced the availability of new members of the company's Econobox series of die cast aluminum boxes featuring external mounting brackets that can be mounted on a wall or panel without having to remove the cover and expose the internal components to the environment. They are equipped with a permanently-fastened mounting bracket 0.09 in. thick that accepts up to #10 mounting screws (not included). The boxes are priced, sold, and packaged for sale in quantities of one, making them ideal for equipment designed in-house, prototypes, or small production runs. Suggested applications include instrument and meter cases, filter networks, junction boxes, switching and many other applications requiring a small box. In addition, they're ideal for concealed or other interior use where a safety closure is necessary.
Boxes are available in natural aluminum or smooth black powder coat finish, and feature a close-fitting cover attached with screws. These boxes range in size from 2.00" L x 2.00" W x 1.25" D up to 7.50" L x 7.50" W x 2.62" D. Boxes are available in 15 different sizes, each with a close fitting flanged cover fastened to bosses in the body with screws. Cover mounting holes are roll threaded and screws are captive and recessed. The boxes provide EMC protection and are die-cast of ADX-10 alloy. Boxes are easily machined and modified to particular requirements.
