Epson will display its latest Stylus CX Series of multi-function devices (MFD) for home users and the Stylus Photo RX models of all-in-ones for photo enthusiasts at the company's stand at B-4-20, Hall 4 during GITEX Technology Week that will take place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from September 8 to 12.

Epson's Stylus CX Series comprises the CX4300, CX7300, CX8300 and CX6900F MFD models that offer home users a versatile and cost-effective solution for speedy and economical home printing, scanning and copying. The Stylus Photo RX 610 and Stylus Photo RX 690 all-in-one printers on the other hand, make for an affordable home printing solution for photo enthusiasts looking for premium-quality digital and analogue images.

The Stylus CX Series uses Epson's DURABrite Ultra ink which makes for crisp and smudge-proof output on plain paper and yields bright and vibrant high-quality photo prints on glossy paper. The Stylus CX Series also features Epson's PhotoEnhance technology, allowing users to expertly manipulate image enhancing software to get the best out of their photos. Epson's Creativity Suite software enables easy management, filing and printing of photos.

The Stylus CX Series models give a print resolution of up to 5760x1440dpi and fast printing speeds of up to 27 pages per minute (PPM) or photo printing speeds of 28 seconds for 10x15 photos. These MFDs offer standalone photo printing with digital camera memory card slots and PictBridge; feature 2.0 inch colour LCD viewers, individual ink cartridges and 1200dpi scanners. The CX7300 and CX8300 models are also equipped with an improved Epson Micro Piezo print head, a new printing mechanism that increases the rate at which ink droplets can be ejected from the nozzles. The result is faster printing for all document types without a sacrifice on quality.

Epson's Stylus Photo RX610 and Stylus Photo RX690 all-in-one colour printers that will be displayed at GITEX 2007 are targeted at photo enthusiasts having varying levels of expertise. These MFDs provide users a sophisticated photo centre that can meet their need for convenient, premium photo quality from both digital and analogue image sources within the small office home office environment.

Both these models incorporate Epson's innovative six-colour Claria Photographic Ink technology, the superior Variable Sized Droplet Technology that ensures high-quality and smooth, detailed photos; Epson's PhotoEnhance technology which ensures optimal quality prints and Epson's Easy Photo Fix technology which automatically restores colour to old, faded photos and film while scanning, and removes dust marks, ingrained dirt and minor scratches, through its dust removal function for negative and positive film scanning.

The Stylus Photo RX610 and RX690 also come equipped with features such as CD-R print function, high definition LCD preview monitors, high-speed Micro Piezo print head, an intuitive user interface, and direct printing, scanning and copying capability with memory cards, PictBridge and USB direct-print digital cameras, USB flash memory devices and Bluetooth enabled mobile phones.

Khalil El-Dalu, General Manager, Epson Middle East, said, "The demand for Epson's multi function devices have been growing steadily in the recent years, which has driven us to continuously expand our range with models that offer more innovative features and greater performance.
