WFT Announces Availability of Mozhi(TM) EPP Version 1.1, Automated System Refresh and Disaster Recovery Appliance for SAP®

METUCHEN, N.J., Sept. 18 /-- WFT has announced the immediate availability of version 1.1 of their "Mozhi(TM) EPP" SAP Automation Appliance.

Utilizing WFT's extensive knowledge of SAP, WFT has created an appliance that can automate SAP system processes. For example, Mozhi(TM) EPP can be used to automate iterative procedures like SAP system refreshes, system upgrades and system health checks. This automation can reduce the time to execute these procedures from days down to hours.

Additionally, Mozhi(TM) EPP can be integrated with third-party replication software, thereby creating an end-to-end landscape refresh solution for customers running SAP that utilize automated replication software. As an alternate option, Mozhi(TM) EPP can call customized scripts to perform replication and other functions.

Mozhi(TM) EPP can be used to automate disaster recovery, enabling BASIS administrators to proceduralize, store and execute all of the transactions required to execute an SAP system recovery. Recovery procedures can be created and tested during recovery testing, then captured and stored as a Mozhi "project" for automated execution when a disaster is declared.

Mozhi(TM) EPP version 1.1 has an enhanced user interface and added functionality, such as the ability to run saved transaction sets (called projects) against different SAP systems. Furthermore, each project can now handle multiple SAP systems within the same project thread. Error checking and handling has been subsequently updated to handle new multi-system projects.

Originally released in May 2006, WFT's Mozhi(TM) EPP Appliance marks industry first, providing capabilities that the SAP community has not had access to in the past. "Our customers recognize the significance of this solution in that they can now automate an SAP system refresh or disaster recovery, executing either in a fraction of the time it would normally take," stated Ganesh Radhakrishnan, WFT CEO.

Also incorporated within Mozhi(TM) EPP are the capabilities of automating reporting and audit requirements that can be used for internal, external and regulatory compliance.

WFT's Mozhi(TM) EPP is delivered as a turnkey "2-U" Intel(R) based appliance, resulting in an accelerated deployment cycle and faster realization of productivity benefits.
