New Epoxy Resin System Offers Outstanding Chemical Resistance

Master Bond EP41S-2 is a new two component epoxy adhesive/sealant and coating introduced by Master Bond Inc., Hackensack, N.J. The EP41S-2 system is formulated to cure at ambient temperatures or more quickly at elevated temperatures.
It can successfully withstand prolonged immersion in such strong organic solvents as gasoline, fuel oils, methyl alcohol, toluene, ethyl and butyl acetates for more than 1 year in 5-8 mil films at both ambient and elevated temperatures without deterioration or weight change. EP41S-2 also features excellent resistance to inorganic acids, ammonia, sodium hydroxide and many other chemicals.

Master Bond EP41S-2 is 100% reactive and does not contain any solvents or diluents. Adhesion to metals, glass, ceramics, wood, vulcanized rubbers and many plastics is excellent. It has a desirably low coefficient of thermal expansion. EP41S-2
has a service operating temperature range of -60°F to +275°F. Durable and tough EP41S-2 has superior resistance to thermal shock.

This formulation is available in 1/2 pints, pints, quarts, gallons, and 5 gallons pail kits.
