Thermal Conductive Potting Compound Has Superior Electrical Insulation Properties
Master Bond Inc., Hackensack, N.J. has developed a two component epoxy system featuring high thermal stability, high thermal conductivity, superior electrical insulation properties and outstanding dimensional stability. Called EP121AO-1 this compound offers excellent long term durability and chemical resistance even when exposed to adverse environmental conditions. It has a service operating temperature range of up to 475°F to 500°F for limited time periods and 400°F-450°F for prolonged exposures.
EP121AO-1 is a medium viscosity liquid. It has a 100 to 80 mix ratio by weight and a versatile cure schedule at elevated temperatures. Adhesion to metallic and non metallic surfaces is excellent. It's thermal conductivity is 10 BTU/hr/in/ft2/°F.
Master Bond EP121AO-1 is available in 1/2 pint, pint, quart, gallon, and 5 gallon pail kits.
