Permabond Introduces Epoxy Designed to Protect Wire Breakages on Rotors Comutators and Tangs
BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Permabond introduces Permabond® E04, an epoxy adhesive designed to protect wire from breakages and wear around the comutators in high impact, high temperature, high speed, and high vibration rotor applications. This two part epoxy can be applied direct on-line prior to the preheat oven during the trickle-coat resin process. Full cure will occur in the preheat oven prior to the trickle coating process. This process will eliminate off-line, UV curable processes, banding, shrink-wrapping and other methods currently being used to protect wires from wear and breakage.
