A "3 Minute" Set-Up Epoxy is Serviceable Down to 4°K
Hackensack, N.J. ,September 26, 2006-- Master Bond Inc has developed EP51M, a fast "3 minute" set up epoxy adhesive for general purpose bonding. Bonded parts can be safely handled within a half an hour. EP51M produces durable high strength bonds having more than 2000 psi in shear. Bonds exhibit remarkable resistance to thermal cycling and chemicals including water, oil and most organic solvents, over the wide temperature range of 4°K to 120°C (250°F).
Master Bond EP51M has excellent adhesion to metals, glass, ceramics, wood, vulcanized rubbers and many plastics. The bonding strength is relatively insensitive to cleaning procedures. It is suggested that EP51M be mixed in small quantities because of its fast gelling properties. As such, it is highly recommended for high speed bonding operations and production line assemblies.
