'Campaign Manager' Targets CRM Market



SOUTHLAKE, TX, SEPT. 17, 2002 - A powerful enterprise software system that largely automates the large volume of outbound and inbound customer communications in large-scale marketing campaigns is now being introduced to the USA market by ISIS Papyrus Software AG.

Appropriately called, Campaign Manager(TM), the system can eliminate as much as 80 percent of the manual labor involved in creating, producing, distributing and responding to customer communications, according to Annemarie Pucher, head of global sales and marketing for ISIS Papyrus.

The software, together with hardware from a variety of vendors, can provide a complete solution for bi-directional Customer Relationship Management. Campaign Manager has been available in Europe and Asia for more than a year. It is being introduced to the USA market now as part of ISIS Papyrus' increasing focus on the North American market.

Companies that have implemented marketing and campaign management typically have found that the complexity of planning and managing the campaign content is prohibitively time-intensive. The ability simply to gather and analyze customer responses and make use of that knowledge for improving future campaigns is missing, noted Ms. Pucher. New ways of simplifying and automating this important task are desperately needed. That's where Campaign Manager comes in.

Campaign Manager integrates a number of different ISIS Papyrus middleware components that make up the market-leading Papyrus Document System, adding Papyrus Capture and Papyrus FreeForm to handle inbound customer communications.

Papyrus Capture is used to extract response information from letters, faxes, e-mails, and call center data. Once the information is extracted, the Campaign Manager system can in the vast majority of cases automatically generate an appropriate response to the customer.

Papyrus FreeForm can intelligently extract information from documents that do not follow a pre-established format.
