Enhanced Formula of Dry-Scrubbing Media Offers Smaller Footprint!

Marietta, Ga.-Lincoln Associates, Inc., a distributor for Purafil, announces that Purafil ESD has increased the removal capacity of its Chlorosorb® dry-scrubbing media, the primary component of their Emergency Gas Scrubbers. For every 100 pounds of accidentally released chlorine, the enhanced "Chlorosorb® Ultra"media removes 15 pounds of the gas. The Chlorosorb® Ultra media allows for a more compact and cost-effective chlorine gas emergency scrubber. The Chlorosorb® Ultra media will also provide opportunities to convert some problematic wet scrubbers into maintenance-free, hazard-free dry-chemical scrubbers. Chlorosorb® Ultra is effective at temperatures as low as 40 degrees below Fahrenheit and as high as 200 degrees. The media is landfill acceptable, non-toxic before and after use, and UL Classified Class 2 as non-flammable.
